Atlas Air Comfort installs energy-efficient heat pumps for income-qualified Michigan homeowners through Michigan Home Energy Rebates (MiHER) and the federal HEAR and HOMES rebate programs. We're currently hiring full-time W-2 technicians across Michigan. Subcontractor positions are not available at this time.
Both roles below (full-time W-2 technician and 1099 subcontractor) require a current, valid HVAC contractor license (or state mechanical/DSPS credential) plus EPA 608 Universal certification.

Michigan offers two ways to work with us: a full-time, W-2 HVAC technician role and a 1099 independent subcontractor role. All work centers on heat pump installations and home electrification upgrades funded by federal Home Energy Rebate (HEAR/HOMES) programs. EPA 608 Universal certification is required for every role, and a valid state HVAC license is mandatory for every position. There are no exceptions. Each position's specific licensing requirements are detailed below.
